Move and Store alternative for one-van firms
Move and Store is the closest thing to Kwotly on the list: built for small UK firms, prices on the website, and a free way in. The big differences are how it charges, a percentage of every payment taken through it, and who types the inventory. Here’s how they line up, and when it’s the better pick.
Who Move and Store is built for
Move and Store is made by Xiza ltd, a small UK software company, and built with a removals operator. It’s aimed at small UK removals firms, and especially the ones that store goods as well: unit types, reservations and recurring card billing for storage are all in it.
You enter the customer and the move, add the rooms and items, and it prices the job from your base rates, van multipliers and extras. Then you send the customer a link to a quote page where they accept and pay a deposit through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. An accepted quote turns into a booking you can put a team member on, and there’s a pipeline of leads and Google review requests.
It runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer; there’s no app to download. Reporting, Google Calendar and Xero or QuickBooks links are marked coming soon. It also sells managed Google Ads and website builds on top of the software.

Questions people ask
How much does Move and Store cost?
On its own website, 2 November 2026: Free is £0 with a 5% fee on payments taken through it, Pro is £29 a month (or £290 a year) with a 2% fee, and Scale is £79 a month (or £790 a year) with a 0.5% fee. Stripe’s own card fees come on top of all three. Prices include VAT where it applies, and there’s no contract. Check their pricing page before you decide.
What does the percentage fee actually cost?
It depends how much you take through it. Say £3,000 of deposits and balances go through it in a month: that’s £150 on Free, £89 on Pro (£29 plus £60) and £94 on Scale (£79 plus £15), with Stripe’s fees on top of each. The fee is only on payments that go through it, so cash and bank transfers taken outside it cost nothing extra.
Is Move and Store good for a one-van firm?
Yes, it’s one of the few built for small firms, and the free plan is a fair way to try it. Where it suits you best is if you store goods or want card deposits online now. Where it suits a one-van firm less: you still type every inventory in yourself, and follow-ups and your own logo on quotes need Pro.
Is the Move and Store Google Ads package worth it?
It’s £79 a month (Pro plus £50 for running the ads) and the ad money goes to Google on top, with £150 a month as the least they say works and £250 as where they suggest starting. So budget £229 to £329 a month before a single job. That can pay if your area is busy, but try the free routes first: how to get man and van work without paying for leads.
Can I try Kwotly alongside Move and Store?
Yes, and you don’t have to move anything to do it. Put your rates into Kwotly, send next week’s new enquiries through your Kwotly quote link, and keep Move and Store for storage and the jobs already booked. If prices go out quicker, carry on. If they don’t, you’ve spent nothing.
