About Cubic

Who Cubic is built for

Cubic Removals Manager, Cubic for short, comes from a small business in Barnstaple, Devon, run by Brad Davis and Sara Welch. It’s in early access: you apply, they approve each account by hand, and their terms say they can say no. It isn’t the same company as Removals Manager, which has its own page here.

It does a lot for the money. Every plan gets quotes that turn into VAT invoices in one click, a job calendar for putting crews on jobs, MOT, service and insurance reminders for the vans, a weekly rota with timesheets, reports, and a free app for your customers called Cubic Move. Team and Pro add home surveys, a leads marketplace, and links to QuickBooks, Xero and Google Calendar. Pro adds storage.

Getting to a price is your job. You walk the property with your phone, its photo scanner suggests each item and its size for you to check, and you turn that list into a quote and email it. Its website doesn’t describe a form that gives the customer a price on its own. Staff logins are still marked coming soon, so for now it’s the owner’s login only. It runs in the browser with nothing to install.

Questions people ask

How much does Cubic cost?

On its own website, 2 November 2026: Solo £15 a month, Team £35 and Pro £59, or £150, £350 and £590 if you pay for the year. Cubic isn’t VAT registered, so there’s no VAT on top. There’s no set-up fee, no job limit and no cancellation fee, and approved accounts get 14 days of Solo free with no card. Check their pricing page before you decide, because prices move.

Is Cubic or Kwotly better for a one-van firm?

It depends where your evenings go. If it’s the admin (the diary, timesheets, van reminders, invoices), Cubic’s Solo covers more of that than Kwotly does, for £15 a month, and it’s worth a look. If it’s pricing enquiries, Kwotly is built for that: the enquiry lands priced from the customer’s photos or typed list at your rates, and you check it and send. Cubic’s website describes you building each quote yourself. You can try Kwotly on 10 quotes a month free, with no card.

Both have a photo scanner. What’s the difference?

Cubic’s is for you: you photograph things on a survey and it suggests each item and its size for you to check, 50 times a month on Solo, and that allowance is shared with its quote and packing helpers. When that runs out it pauses until the 1st. Kwotly’s reads the photos your customer sends with the enquiry, so the list and the price are waiting before you’ve rung them back: 5 house moves a month on Free, 40 on Starter and 60 on Pro. Over that, the customer can still send photos and you price from them yourself.

Does Cubic sell leads?

Yes, on Team and Pro. The leads come from Cubic’s own CubiCal moving calculator. Its terms say a lead can be sold to more than one firm and can’t be refunded once you’ve seen the contact details, and the price per lead isn’t on its website. Kwotly doesn’t sell leads: your own quote page brings in your own enquiries, with no fee per lead.

Is Cubic Removals Manager the same as Removals Manager?

No. Cubic Removals Manager is run from Barnstaple in Devon by Brad Davis and Sara Welch. Removals Manager is a different company with its own website and prices, and its own comparison page.

Can I use Kwotly alongside Cubic?

Yes. Put your rates into Kwotly, send next week’s new enquiries through your Kwotly quote link, and keep Cubic for the diary and the jobs already booked. If prices go out quicker, keep going. If they don’t, you’ve spent nothing.

Try it on your next enquiry

Run Kwotly next to whatever you use now, on real enquiries, for a week. 10 quotes a month are free with no card, so if it doesn’t earn its keep you’ve lost nothing.
