The best removals software for small UK firms
The eight removals software names you’re most likely to come across in the UK, with the price from its own website and who it’s actually built for. Smallest firms first. We make one of them, so judge us hardest.
How to read this list
Every price below came off that company’s own website on the date at the top of the page. Where a price says + VAT, that’s how they publish it; where it doesn’t, they didn’t say. Where there’s no price, it’s because they don’t publish one and you have to ask.
The list runs from tools built for one van up to systems for firms with depots, warehouses and crews. The best one is the one built for the size you are now, not the size you’d like to be in five years.
We make Kwotly, and it’s on here. It’s built for the small end, so it sits near the top. If you run a yard full of vans, scroll down: one of the bigger systems will suit you better, and we’d rather say so.

Kwotly
- Price
- Free for 10 quotes a month, then £39 or £79 a month, no contract
- Built for
- One to three vans
Ours. Every operator gets their own quote page; the enquiry lands already priced from the customer’s photos or typed list, at your own rates, and you check it and send it from your phone. Your logo and a form for your website on Pro. Card deposits are coming soon; for now, put the deposit and how to pay it on the quote. No storage, no crew app, no dispatch board. What it costs.
Move and Store
- Price
- Free with a 5% fee on payments through it; Pro £29 a month with 2%; Scale £79 a month with 0.5%
- Built for
- Small UK removals firms
Built for small UK removals operators, with the price on the website and a free way in. The catch to weigh up is the percentage it takes on payments that go through it, which on a busy month can cost more than a flat fee. It also sells a booked-jobs package with Google Ads and website builds.

- Built for
- Removals and storage firms with an office
An office and surveying system from people in the trade, with its prices in full on the website. Tablet surveys, a volume calculator, online acceptance, a diary, invoices, storage, and links to Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Good value for a firm with an office; more than one van needs.
Manage My Moves
- Price
- Taster £15 a month for up to 3 users; bigger plans charged per seat
- Built for
- Removals firms with staff and depots
Built inside Trunk Logistics, a working removals firm in Essex. It covers the whole office: leads, quotes, diaries, surveys, staff on jobs, wages, depots and invoices, with Xero and QuickBooks links. The Taster package is aimed at start-ups.
i-mve
- Price
- Not on the website; 14-day free trial, no long-term contract
- Built for
- UK removals and storage companies
A full removals and storage system. It doesn’t publish prices, but it does offer a free trial and says there’s no long-term contract, which is more than most of the bigger names will tell you up front.

Move Agent
- Price
- From £249 + VAT a month for up to 6 people
- Built for
- Removals, storage and self-storage operators

MoveMan

- Not on the website, by enquiry
- Built for
- Established firms, single users up to multi-branch
The long-standing name, supplying removals firms since the mid-1990s with close to 300 on it by its own count. Sold in modules: surveys, storage, crews, international, a customer portal and accounts links. A BAR affiliate since 2006.
Moovi
- Price
- From £180 a month plus warehouses, app users and modules; 12-month minimum
- Built for
- Multi-site removals operators
Newer, built by a founder who started at Pickfords, and every customer it lists is a multi-site operator. Photo and video surveys, a crew app that works offline, warehouse tracking, compliance, international and tender writing. Prices published; a twelve-month term.

How to choose
Start with the size of firm, not the feature list. If you survey homes, store goods and run crews, you need one of the systems from the middle of the list down, and the extra money buys real things. If it’s you and a van, most of those features are things you’ll pay for and never open.
Then ask four questions of anything you’re weighing up.
- Is the price on the website?
- Can you try it on real jobs without a card or a call?
- Is there a contract, and how long?
- Does it price at your rates, or somebody else’s?
The longer version, with the six things to check before you give anyone a card, is in our guide to removal company software for one-van firms.
Questions people ask
What’s the best removals software for a one-van firm?
Something built for quoting quickly, that you can try free, with no contract. That’s what we built Kwotly to be: free for 10 quotes a month, then £39. Move and Store is the other one built for the small end; it takes a percentage of payments instead of a flat fee. The bigger systems work too, but you’d be paying for surveys, storage and crews you haven’t got.
What’s the cheapest removals software in the UK?
There are free ways in: Kwotly is free for 10 quotes a month with no card, and Move and Store is free with a 5% fee on payments through it. Of the paid ones that publish prices, Manage My Moves’ Taster is £15 a month and Removals Manager is £45 + VAT a month. Cheapest isn’t the point, though: one extra job won a month pays for most of these.
Which removals software has no contract?
Kwotly and Removals Manager both say no minimum term on their websites, and i-mve says no long-term contract. Moovi asks for twelve months. Several others don’t say on their pricing page, so ask before you sign anything.
Do I need removals software at all?
Not on day one. A spreadsheet and WhatsApp is fine for the first few months. You need something when enquiries start going cold because you can’t price them until nine at night, or when a Saturday goes missing because nobody paid a deposit. Starting a man and van business covers the early months.
